ROBOTICS CLUB NEWS - Mr. Walso
The Robotics Club is holding a cupcake fundraiser this Friday at noon hour. We are selling cupcakes for $1 to support our trip to the VEX Robotics Provincial Championship next week in Edmonton. Thanks to Sandra Neumeier-Paziuk for baking the cupcakes!
We also want to thank Kurt Gibb for his generous cash donation to the robotics club and to support our annual VEX Robotics tournament. We are proud of our STEM program in the school and the support that the community gives us.
Due to travel restrictions placed on many schools, our VEX Robotics Prairie Cup tournament will be scaled back this year. The final matches of the tournament will be held on Friday, March 9th at our Student of the Month assembly.
THANK YOU!
A huge thank you to Crop Production Services for their snack on Feb. 13 of cookies and juice in recognition of Agriculture day!
MILK DAYS!
Feb. 12-13 we will be having many draws for some great milk prizes! We have white or chocolate milk at the booth for $1.25 each or you can purchase a milk card for $10 that has 8 milk on it. Go to SchoolCash online to purchase a milk card or you can buy them at the school office.
GRAD FRUIT SALES
The grade 12 student will once again be doing their fruit and cookie dough fundraiser. In addition to the variety of juices and the apple chips, they now have olive oil and balsamic vinegars as well. Watch your mailbox next week for a flyer with info. and prices. A grade 12 student should be phoning you sometime between Feb. 1 and 26 to see if you would like to place an order. You can also call the school at 306-823-4313 to place an order or drop your order off at the school office. We expect delivery to be around mid to late March. Thank you for your support!
Caution! Caution!
Due to severe allergies among the students at NCS, the school requires that everyone avoid bringing any items with nut products, eggs that are not baked into an item or animals to the school. Our students' health depends on your cooperation. Thank you.
New Phone System
We have a new phone system, with some awesome features. However, we are still learning the system and, as some of you may have already experienced, part of learning is making mistakes. If we cut you off accidentally, please accept our apologies in advance. Also, as part of this upgrade, we no longer have a fax machine, so please scan your items and email them to us instead.
Thank you for your patience as we go through this change.
2016-2017 Yearbooks are IN!
