LOCAL TRACK MEET – May 27

Our local track and field will be held on Monday, May 27 with May 30 being the alternate day in case of rain.  The grade 7-12 will run their events in the morning and the K-6 students will go in the afternoon.  K-6 students will have an early lunch at 11:30 and then will meet in the gym at 12:00 for instructions and then will start their events at 12:15.  Parents are asked to call the school office if they can help out that day.  There will be a booth that day in the Home Ec. Room and hot dogs will be on sale for lunch starting at 11:30. Other snacks for sale will be cold treats, candy bags, chips, water, juice etc. There is also a good selection of drinks and snacks in the vending machine.

Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and proper footwear for running races.  Other items that your child might need are a hat, sunscreen bug spray and a water bottle.  PLEASE MAKE SURE CLOTHES AND WATER BOTTLES ARE LABELED!  We have many water bottles in the lost and found with no name on them.

On Tuesday, June 4, the grade 4-6 students will be competing in the Tri-Meet hosted by Maidstone.  They will go by bus at 9 and be home around 3:15.

BUSES MAY BE RUNNING LATE

Parents of bus students should be aware that the buses may be running a bit late in the afternoon on the high school track meet (May 22) and the Tri-meet (June 4).
