You are invited to attend Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, Nov. 8^th 4:30-7:00pm or Thursday, Nov. 9^th 4:00-6:30pm. At this time, the student, parent(s) and teacher(s) will meet together to talk about the learning that has taken place during the term so far. The conference will take 10 minutes. Your son/daughter knows a great deal about his/her own learning and has collected work samples to show you.

Format:

The number one purpose of the conference is to support the learning of your son or daughter by:

1. Talking about strengths and areas of progress.
2. Looking at and discussing works samples.
3. Talking about areas needing improvement.
4. Setting one or two goals for the remainder of the term and the next term.
5. Discussing ways to help meet these goals.

We are utilizing an online booking system again this year so that if you have a preferred time and date you can schedule your conference times around your schedule.

The Public Health Nurse will also be in the school during conferences on Wednesday, Nov. 8^th with flu vaccinations available.

St. Walburg School Three Way Conferences (Student/Parent/Teacher) are scheduled for:

Gr. 1-12:

Wednesday, Nov. 8^th 4:30-7:00pm

Thursday, Nov. 9^th 4:00-6:30pm

PreKindergarten:

Wednesday, Nov. 8^th 4:30-7:00pm

Kindergarten will be at a later date, after their EYE assessment is complete.

Please note:

• Grade 2 – all conferences will be booked under Kristy Nasby but both Kristy and Erin Gordon will be at the conference.

We are going to take advantage of the convenience of booking online. 

Booking Process:

The entire process is fast and simple…

Step 1 – Go to http://www.schoolinterviews.ca  or simply "Google" School Interviews" or go to the school website

Step 2 – Enter the event code w9tng in the green event code box under "Parents"

Step 3 – Enter your full name and your e-mail in the spaces provided and press "Go"

Step 4 – Enter the name of the student(s) you wish to book for

Step 5 – Choose your child's teacher as the teacher and the subject you are looking to book for

Step 6 – Choose your time

Step 7 – Check your email for confirmation of your date and time

If you don't have access to a computer or the internet, please call the school and we will book for you, or if you wish you could access the booking system by coming to the school.

Online booking will close on Friday, Oct. 20^th. If you have not booked online by this deadline we will schedule you in for an appointment. A completed schedule will be sent home on Friday, October 27^th.
