Driver's Authorization Form

  • All drivers who transport students are required to fill out a Automotive Driver's Authorization Form (AP Form 557).  This form allows you to transport students in your private vehicle for sporting events, field trips, etc.  This form needs to be filled out once per year.  If you might transport students, please fill in the form and return it to the school as soon as possible.

Additional Information

Homework Board:

To help students with keeping track of tests and assignments, we are putting up a central homework board in the hallway by their lockers.  Homework will now be listed on this board, in their subject classroom and in their agenda book (student's responsibility).  If you are wondering what homework is due, what the next test is ... you can have a peek at the central board.

Medic Alert:

Thanks to the generous support of our local Lions Club we are able to offer the No Child Without program to students aged 4 to 14.  This program offers all elementary aged children with medical conditions or allergies free MedicAlert protection.  There is no cost to the parent, school or Board of Education when a child participates in the program.

Bus Lane:

When you are dropping off or picking up your children, please do not use the bus lanes on the north side of the road, especially when the buses are there.  Please use the West Entrance to drop off and pick up students.  Please do not use the Museum or Library entrances.

I-Pod Touches & Other Portable Devices:

I-Pod Touches (and similar portable devices) have the ability to access the wireless network at school.  This gives the students the ability to access the internet.  The school restricts internet access in order to keep children as safe as possible.  With this in mind, a decision has been made, effective immediately, that such devices that can access the internet will not be allowed in the school.

The Star Phoenix:

Students can now access the Star Phoenix online.  Please visit www.thestarphoenix.com.  Our User ID is: goodsoil@canada.com and the password is password.

Re-Cycling:

The school accepts old phone books for re-cycling.  Feel free to send them in or drop them off at the school!  For every phonebook we send to recycling, Sasktel Pioneers pays 10 cents to the school.   Each classroom now has a blue recycle bin for paper and one for bottles/cans.  A special thank-you to Ted Lynn at Ted's Welding for his donation!!.

Labels For Education:

We are still collecting Campbell soup labels, so keep sending them in.  It is greatly appreciated!  Please make sure to keep the bar code on the label intact, as that is the part we need. To learn more about all eligible products visit wwww.labelsforeducation.ca.
