Our school operates on a year-long, non-semestered program which is based on an eight-day cycle with seven class periods each day. In addition, the school offers many extracurricular sports activities such as curling, cross country skiing, basketball, volleyball, fastball, track and field, badminton, golf, and cross country running. We also offer other extra curricular activities such as cross country skiing, band, yearbook, drama, choir, and student council.

The school has a very active noon hour intramural program in which all students are encouraged to participate. Students are all placed in one of the four houses of Ahmik, Giants, Osheeshawa or Unicorn. Individual and house points are earned by participating in the various school activities.

Our school also offers an Accelerated Reading (AR) program, which is integrated into our intramural programs. Each day students read for fifteen minutes, upon completion of a book students then take a quiz about the book they have just read. Each test result gives the student a running total of points and this also goes towards house team points.
