After School Program French Immersion Program Pre-Kindergarten Program

After School Program Lakeview Elementary's After School program is a community-driven learning opportunity that supports cognitive, social, physical, and emotional growth. We offer arts and cultural enrichment, recreation, and nutrition on most regular school days from 3:30 until 4:30pm. Activities include academic skill-building, sports and recreation, exploration of special interests such as art, music, computers and technology, crafts, and games through both structured and unstructured play times. As well, the program also allows children to develop ongoing relationships with caring adults in a safe environment, strengthen social skills, and receive healthy snacks to meet nutritional needs. An afternoon summer program is also offered during the summer holidays.

French Immersion Program Northwest School Division's French Immersion program is proudly offered at Lakeview Elementary. Positive support from Northwest School Divsion #203, Canadian Parents for the French, and the community has contributed to making this program both possible and a success. Commencing in 2007 for kindergarten and grade one students, the French Immersion program at Lakeview has now expanded to include grades two and three with approximatly 44 students total.
