A sincere thank you to our caretaker, Trina Tuplin, for all of her hard work this summer. The school looks fantastic.
School Picture Day - Friday, September 10th. Kindergarten "A" will have their pictures taken on Thursday, September 9th. Retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 26th.
Lamontagne Fall Fundraiser begins on September, 13th and runs until October 13th. All monies raised will go towards paying off our new playground equipment and playground maintenance.
Terry Fox National School Run Day - Friday, September 24th. More information to come out later.
Teachers' Convention - There will be no classes on the following dates due to Teachers' Convention: Monday, September 27 and Tuesday September 28.
PLC Dismissal - Effective immediately our PLC afternoon dismissals will be at 11:52 a.m. rather than 11:40 a.m.
School Fees
Our school fees remain the same this year: K - $32.00 ($20.00 School Supplies/$12.00 Student Fees), Gr. 1-3 - $25.00, Gr. 4-6 - $ $30.00.
Milk Cards
Due to the price of milk going up, our milk cards will be sold as follows: $5.00 = 5 milk, $10.00 = 11 milk, $20.00 = 23 milk.
Head Lice
Since no one can be exactly sure where they came from it is the responsibility of anyone with headlice to let other family members, friends, the school or daycare know if you have been in contact with head lice. If you don't your children stand a good chance of getting the lice back from one of the sources that they have come into contact with.
Children can return to school immediately after they have been treated but your job is not done. Lice eggs take 7 to 10 days to hatch and contrary to product labels nothing kills lice eggs as far as we know. This means that you must manually remove the lice eggs (or nits) daily over the course of a two week period.
