The mission of the Family Advocate is to support student success through collaboration with schools. families, and the community - with a student first focus.
Jennifer Dileone is the Family Advocate for Northwest School Division. Jennifer works with schools across NWSD, and students from PreK to Grade 12.
How can the Family Advocate help?
- Facilitate communication between families and school staffs to connect with supports within the school.
- Connect families with community organizations, (Door of Hope, Friendship Center, etc)
- Listen to family concerns and provide advocacy within the school.
- Locate resources for students and families.
