After School Program

Various Activities are carries out after the school day is done. Baking, volunteering, crafts etc. 

Art Club

Join the art teachers after school and callenge yourself to create something AMAZING!

Badminton

Starting in February is  you chance to get involved with pairs or single badminton.  Come out and have a great time.

Basketball

There is a grade 7,8 and 9 team for boys and girls. That is 6 teams! Come on out and make the team.  The season runs from Late November to February.

Come out and join a proud tradition of Meadow Lake Curling.

Drama

Drama is for everyone! We have junior and senior drama productions.  All students welcome to fill the rolls of actor, prduction, lighting and technical crews.

Football

Gr 9 players are welcome to try out for to play with Carpenter High School Spartans football. Players range from grade 9 to 12.

Finer Things Club

 A spot for everyone.  We enjoy graphic novels, movie nights, table top gaming, video games etc. 

Golf

Open to everyone in both fall and spring seasons.

Grade 7 Trip

  The first of annual cirrucular trips that the students get to enjoy.

Grade 8 Camping Trip

This is a curricular event where the enitre drade 8 class goes camping for 4 days at Matheson Lake in the Provincial Park.  They learn, grow and so much more.  A great outdoor adventure with memories to last a lifetime!

Grade 9 Ski Trip

Another curricular event the entire grade is exposed to downhill skiing, snowboarding etc.  A day trip to Table Mountain offers a memorble time. 

House Games

All staff and students are placed in one of ther four houses.  Ahmik, Giants Osh and Unicorn. Activities are run all year long in and out of the school.

Oskayak Culture Club - "Leadership and Culture" 

Runs throughout the school year, Mondays 3:30-5pm.  Come join us.

Outdoor Education

This extracurricular program runs all year long.  There are 3 major trips during the fall, winter and spring.

Photography Club

Starting up in January we meet once a week to learn what makes a great photo, how to use and understand the settings on your camera and take your photos to a new level.

Join us to learn a new skill and create simple projects.

Soccer

The beautiful game is offered to all grades.  It is played in the fall.  Come out and have some fun.

S.R.C.

The Student Representiative COuncil is there for and lead by the students.  School events are planned throughout the school year like pep rallies, dances and special event days.  We meet every other Tuesday to plan.  Come out and gain leadership for your school.

Stop The Stigma

"Stop The Stigma" is a community dedicated to raising mental health awareness and providing support for anyone battling their own mental illness.

Track and Field

Track and it's events are help in the spring.  All students are welcome to take part in the various disciplines.

Ukulele Club

Join us to learn a fun and unique insturment in over the noon hour. Runs thoughout the school year.

Volleyball

Offered to students in all grades, there is plenty of oppertunity to enjoy a great sport.  The season starts in the fall running through September and October.

WE Group

Developing a cheritable group of student leaders our We group in involved in making our world a better place within our community, province, country and  the world.

Yearbook

Make a mark that will last a lifetime.  Many skills are put into each yearbook, creativity, photography, writting and more.  Join a group of dedicated students Mondays after school.
