GRADE 3 STORYWRITING
Newt Helps Me Out
One day I was taking a walk with Hermione and she and I were skipping stones when she saw a Niffler. Then I looked over the lake and saw Nixa my Niffler. I ran over to see she has a hurt leg and ran her to Hermione. Hermione pulled bandages out of her bag and we tried to wrap her leg but it didn't work. Then we carried her to Hagrid.
When we went to see Hagrid he was growing his pumpkins. We asked him for help but he said he didn't know how to help us. Then he said, just before we left, to ask Newt Scamander. I knew him and our Nifflers were friends so I apparated to his house to ask for help. So I told Hermione to go back to school while I asked. So I apparated to his house with Nixa.
So when we got to Newt's house I knocked on the door. When he answered I came inside and told him what happened. He said he would fix her and bring her back to school for me. Then as soon as I thanked him and got up to go he handed me a chest. I opened it and looked inside; there was jewellery, gold, silver, books, pictures, and so much more. I gave him a hug, said thanks, and apparated back to Hogwarts.
When I got there we had care of Magical Creatures Class and we learned about Nifflers in my book. Then I became Head Girl the next year! Now I am travelling around the world! I am a Scientist who teaches wizards about space and am a teacher at Hogwarts!
The End
Rolo
Hi my name is Ginny Weasley. I am a red head (like the rest of my family). Right now me and Hermione are walking back to the common room and there's the animal that we were just learning about. "A Rolo," said Hermione and I at the same time. "The Rolo is suppose to live in the cotton candy forest." Hermione said. A Rolo is a blue, purple and pink puff ball. "We should totally name it Puffy." I said.
"We need to send it back from where it came from because it can't survive without cotton candy for at least 12 hours" said Hermione. "We're not using Erold," I said. "Well use Percy's [owl]." So the owl and Puffy set off and came straight back. "We need help," I said….
"Okay, we can ask Hagrid and my mom." I said. "I'll send an owl to my mom you get Hagrid." I said. Then my mom walked in that second. "What are you doing here?" I said. "I'm here to check on you guys," said Mrs. Weasley. "What do you need?" said Mrs. Weasley. At that moment Hagrid walked in. "Mom you watch Puffy. Hagrid can we borrow Buckbeak?" I asked. "Sure" said Hagrid.
So we set off on Buckbeak. When we gave Puffy back the mother gave us some Royal Cotton Candy. After we flew back home and I felt different. I felt like I made a difference. It felt good. Now next year I want to be like Hermione and ace all my tests. I also want to make myself a better person.
The End
The Schraine and Seamus
Setting are at Hogwarts and Egypt. The characters in my story are Seamus, Harry, Ron, Hagrid and Professor Snape. Seamus wears a Gryffindor tie and a black cloak. He has black hair. Harry wears a Gryffindor tie and a black cloak. Ron is a redhead. Snape wears a black robe. He has black hair and a brown beard.
One night I was walking to Hagrid's hut and saw a head peeking out from a tree. I went up to it and it screeched. It was a Schraine. So I went up to it and it tried to bite my hand off. I snuck it into Hagrid's for the night. Then the next morning I tried to send him to Egypt in the mail truck. That didn't work and it scared him. Then I asked Harry and Ron for advice. "I came up with a name Harry and Ron, Sheeky the Schraine." "He lost a leg from the were wolf." Said Seamus.
"Harry what did you say?" Said Seamus. "Go to Snape." Said Harry. They went to Snape and he made them a potion to make Sheeky's wings bigger so he could fly to Egypt. We ran past Dumbledore out of the castle and into the forest. Sheeky tried to fly but he couldn't. So Ron gave him a boost and he flew away to Egypt. His family lived in a pyramid.
Ron, Harry and I went to the castle. They all clapped except Malfoy. I got a new Firebolt, the fastest broom in history. They all told me to take a ride. I took a ride and ended up in the Whomping Willow but it was asleep. Then Wood asked me if I wanted to join the team. I said "yes". We went to the Quidditch finals. We won the Quidditch cup. The Gryffindor house went wild. Snape isn't mean anymore and that is my story
