Please be advised that all exterior doors will be locked between the hours of 8:55 am and 3:15 pm with the exception of the main school doors. Visitors will be required to check in with the office. We are asking parents to drop off their children at the main doors if they are arriving late. Due to COVID-19, all visitors to the school are required to fill out the QR code posted at the main entrance before entering the school.
STUDENT FEES
Payment of student fees will now only be available through School Cash Online. Due to COVID-19, NCS is moving to a cashless purchasing program effective November 1, 2020. We cannot accept cash or cheques for payment after this date. Please call the school at 306-823-4313 for School Cash Online sign-up information.
Brennan Olsen Memorial Colour Run
The school will be hosting a Colour Run this year in remembrance of Brennan Olsen. The Colour Run will replace the Terry Fox run for this school year. The event will be held on Thursday, Sept 24th at 2:00 pm. The students will be given a commemorative t-shirt to wear during the run. We recommend that all students wear clothes and shoes that can be coloured. Water will be provided on the run.
Terry Fox
This year is the 40th Anniversary of Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope and Neilburg Composite School is proud to be continuing the legacy of one of our greatest heroes. Any families and community members wishing to donate can send cheques to the school payable to The Terry Fox Foundation. Thanks in advance for your support!
Grad 2021 Bottle Drive
The Grad class will be having a bottle drive to fundraise for their graduation. They will be collecting bottles between noon and 6:00 pm on October 10, 2020. Bottles and cans can be left on your doorstep or driveway and the students will pick them up. They appreciate any donation and thank you for your support.

Due to severe allergies among the students at NCS, the school requires that everyone avoid bringing any items with nut products, eggs that are not baked into an item or animals to the school. Our students' health depends on your cooperation. Thank you.

Parents PLEASE sign up for SchoolMessenger so that you receive messages from the school. This is the way we communicate important messages. Text to the number 724665 and then reply Yes and you will be set up to receive messages.
STUDENT ABSENCES Parents please notify the school if your child is going to be absent. Parents will receive a phone call for any unexcused absences. Please call or email the school for all absences. Email: ncs@nwsd.ca or call 306-823-4313.
BUSINESS ADVERTISEMENTS – PAID ADVERTISEMENTS If your business would be interested in putting a paid advertisement in the school newsletter, please contact Cathy at the school (306-823-4313). The newsletters go out weekly (usually Wednesday). Any ads would have to be into the school by 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
