Please be advised that all exterior doors will be locked between the hours of 8:55 am and 3:15 pm with the exception of the main school doors. Visitors will be required to check in with the office. We are asking parents to drop off their children at the main doors if they are arriving late.


The School Newsletter will be published monthly and will be posted on the NCS website.

Due to severe allergies amongst the students at NCS, the school requires that everyone avoid bringing any items with nut products, shellfish and eggs that have not been baked into an item or animals to the school. Our students' health depends on your co-operation. NCS is also a scent aware school. Thank you.

TRI-MEET

On Wednesday, June 8, the grade 4-6 students will be competing in the Tri-Meet hosted by Maidstone. They will go by bus at 9 am and be back in Neilburg at approximately 3:15pm. Please make sure that your child is wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and has proper footwear. They may also need a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water. They should bring a lunch or have money to buy lunch or snacks from the booth.

 

 

GRADE 7&8 CAMPING TRIP TO MEADOW LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK

Mr. Worman is looking for chaperones and help to organize meals for the overnight camping trip. Please call the school if you are interested in helping. Information regarding the field trip will be sent home in the near future.

SCC YEAR-END BBQ

The SCC and SRC would like to invite everyone for a year-end wind-up. Join us on Tuesday, June14th from 4-6pm for a free BBQ and kids games.

MANITOU LAKE MULTIPLE 4H CLUB ACHIEVEMENT DAY

The Manitou Lake Multiple 4H club would like to welcome everyone in the community to join us on May 30th. Come at noon for a free BBQ lunch supplied by the 4H club and served by the NCS grade 11 and 12 students. Then stick around for the show at 1pm at the museum grounds.

MILK PROGRAM

The Milk Program is back up and running. Every day at lunch time, a cart comes to each classroom and give either chocolate milk or white milk to those students who have paid for a Milk Card. Milk Cards can be purchased through School Cash Online and are $10 for 8 milks. The cards will stay at school and be on the cart when it comes around at lunch. Your child's card will be “punched" when your child takes a milk.

BOOK ORDERS                                                    

***Please order all scholastic book orders online from your home, unless your child's homeroom teacher has said otherwise. If you use the CLASS CODE RC103091, the school can earn free books. Thank you! ***​

STUDENT ABSENCES                                                                                                                                                                 Parents please notify the school if your child is going to be absent.  Parents will receive a phone call for any unexcused absences.
