SPORTS

 Junior Boys      Coach- Ms. Reynoldson

On Oct. 27 We hosted the Battle River conferences and were the Gold Medal Champions! This qualified us for Junior 'A" Northwest Districts at JSMS in Meadow Lake on October 29. It was a good day! The boys finished first overall during pool play but did not win the final match. We brought home silver medals and learned some lessons about ourselves and how pressure can accumulate when we are “the team to beat"!

Thanks for a great season, boys!

This has been my most successful group of volleyball players since coaching at NCS. All the best to our grade 9s, Mathias L'Heureux, Jake Hein, Garner Melchoir and Kaydon Kodeyk as they move into senior volleyball next year, and we have a great foundation in place for next year with Issac Briggs, Jace Newport, Colby Olsen, Drey Ryall, Aiden Proctor, Elliot Walde, and Jacob Cunanan. Thank you, parents, for being there along the way and cheering us on.

Junior Girls       Coach- Mrs. Perkins and Miss Scheck

This year our Junior Girls Volleyball Team consisted of Sierra Roznowski, Jennalee Graham, Emily Thiessen, Avery Perkins, Jasmin LaClare, Brooklyn Goodfellow, LJ Facun, Lana Peters, Jennifer Thiessen, Kayleigh Tempel, Jalyssa Roznowski, and Marty Koedyk. Aliana Worman and Landon Roznowski were a huge help at practices as high school coaches. We had a great year of skill development, game play, and fun! We finished our year off by being Gold Medal Champions at the Battle River Conferences in Marshall and then playing hard at the Junior 'A" Northwest Districts in Pierceland where we placed 3rd. Great season, girls!

Thank you to all the parents for cheering us on and getting us to our games safely!

Senior Boys      Coach Mr. Wilson

**Practices are Tuesday/Thursdays from 6-8 pm**

Nov. 5             Turtleford Tournament

Nov. 12           Conferences in Paradise Hill

Nov. 19           Regionals TBD (if qualify)

Nov. 25 & 26   Provincials in Harvest City (if qualify)

Senior Girls' Volleyball

Wrapped up their season with Conferences in St. Wallburg on the 5th.

 Caution! Caution!

Due to severe allergies amongst the students at NCS, the school requires that everyone avoid bringing any items with nut products, shellfish and eggs that have not been baked into an item or animals to the school. Our students' health depends on your co-operation. NCS is also a scent aware school. Thank you.

Please be advised that all exterior doors will be locked between the hours of 8:55 am and 3:15 pm except for the main school doors. Visitors will be required to check in with the office. We are asking parents to drop off their children at the main doors if they arrive late.

 MILK PROGRAM

The Milk Program is back up and running. Every day at lunchtime, a cart comes to each classroom and gives either chocolate milk or white milk to those students who have paid for a Milk Card. Milk Cards can be purchased through School Cash Online and are $10 for 8 milks. The cards will stay at school and be on the cart when it comes around at lunch. Your child's card will be “punched" when your child takes milk.

**The booth is back! It will be running Wednesday-Friday at noon hour** Watch for update and specials!
