Bowling Gr. 4 and 5 - Mrs. Newport

On Wednesday, May 16, the Grade 4 and 5 class went bowling.  Students had a chance to show off their skills while trying to knock down the pins.  There was some competition as students tried to get better scores than their classmates.  The top 3 bowlers in Gr. 4 were - Jake at 99 points, Garner at 96 points, and Rowdy and Quinten tied at 75 points.  The top 3 bowlers in Gr. 5 were - Colter at 122 points, Emma at 100 points, and Skyler at 98 points.  Thank you to Wendy Lindsay for helping us locate shoes and put shoes away.  Thank you to Darlene for putting student names in ahead of time so we had more time for bowling.  The funding for bowling came from fundraisers such as the coupon book sales and profits from the booth.

Caution!  Caution!

Due to severe allergies among the students at NCS, the school requires that everyone avoid bringing any items with nut products, eggs that are not baked into an item or animals to the school.   Our students' health depends on your cooperation.  Thank you.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR NEXT YEAR

Supply lists for Back to School Solutions will be sent home soon.  There is no obligation to order your school supplies this way, but it is an option.  The school does get a small percentage of all the orders back.

If you are ordering this way, please send your order back to the school with a cheque attached payable to Value Drug Mart and Associates Ltd. by June 27th.  You can order online and then choose only the items that you need.  Your child may have some supplies left from previous years so you can only order specific items.  The deadline for ordering online is August 7th.   Kits are then shipped to the school in August and arrive with labels that have your child's name on them, to put on all the supplies.

Please keep the list as that is the only supply list you will get for next year.  The lists will also be posted online.

REPORT CARD PICKUP

We are once again asking parents to send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the school if you are unable to pick up your child's report card on the morning of June 29th.  Report cards will not be sent home unless an envelope is provided.   All textbooks and library books should be returned to the school library as soon as possible.  Grade 5-12 students must clean out their lockers and return their locks to the library before leaving for the summer.
