Northwest School Division Accessibility Plan
The Northwest School Division Accessibility Plan was created to meet the obligations of the Accessible Saskatchewan Act, and reflects our dedication to equitable access across all schools, workplaces, programs, and environments.
This plan outlines the barriers identified through community and stakeholder engagement, and the practical actions we are taking to address them. Areas of focus include facility accessibility, assistive technology support, specialized training for staff, student transportation supports, and improving access to student services.
This document is part of a long-term effort to remove obstacles and create safe, welcoming spaces where students and staff can learn, work, and participate fully in school life. It is intended to evolve, and will be reviewed annually, with updates and progress shared publicly with all communities.
Our goal is clear: to support independence, remove access barriers, and ensure that our school division remains a place where everyone can thrive.
