LINC Agreement Signed
March 25, 2024
Exciting news! NWSD is pleased to share that a new local bargaining agreement with the North West Teachers' Association (NWTA) has been signed. This renewed partnership will strengthen our commitment to supporting teachers across the school division.
Thank you to all members of the negotiating teams -
The LINC agreement covers locally determined benefits and responsibilities for teachers, such as extra-curricular service, teacher preparation time, before and after school voluntary service, pay for sub teachers, and other non-salary items.
It is
not
part of the current STF and Government Trustee Bargaining Committee negotiations.
